Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People
We were asked to devise a promotional campaign to engage the public and increase awareness of the work done by Rainbows Hospice to provide care and support for children and young people in the East Midlands. The event was to be integrated into the Rainbows Hospice 20th Birthday celebrations.
The Juice creative team developed a social media-based concept in which people were invited to take a colourful “rainbow selfie” and share it with the world. In addition, submitting a selfie meant the picture would take its place as one of over 40,000 postcards used in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the biggest postcard mosaic.
The record attempt, endorsed by Rainbows Hospice patron David Walliams, took place on Friday 17th April, 2015, and enjoyed extensive coverage by local press and television, ensuring maximum exposure for the hospice. Even better, the attempt was successful and the record was not just broken, but smashed!
