Juice Creative were proud to support Hounds For Heroes by designing, producing and installing their exhibition stand at Crufts, NEC Birmingham earlier this year.
Hounds for Heroes is a registered charity that provides specially trained assistance dogs to injured and disabled men and women of both the UK Armed Forces and the civilian Emergency Services. All their dogs are carefully selected for the special qualities required in an assistance dog.
Once fully trained, Hounds for Heroes dogs bring quality of life to their owners by opening doors, picking up items … and even getting money from ATMs. Just as important, they also bring the companionship and love that can sometimes be hard to find when someone becomes disabled. Trained as problem-solvers, all Hounds for Heroes dogs have a single-minded mission: to turn disability into ability.
The training base for Hounds for Heroes assistance dogs is located at Ramsdean, Hampshire, UK. The third “squadron” of cadets – eager puppies boasting names like Merlin, Trooper, Warrior, Sir Bruce and Hermione – is now on parade and progressing well. We’re delighted that our exhibition stand has helped to spread the word about this pioneering charity endeavour.
Hounds for Heroes was founded by an extraordinary man called Allen Parton. . Here’s what Allen had to say about our contribution to their presence at Crufts 2014:
This year at Crufts has to be our most successful ever. Juice Creative must take credit for playing such a major role in that achievement. The stand really reflected everything about our mission and aims. You nailed it – 100%.
We’re doing our happy dance … also known as the Juice Jitterbug. Why? Because we’re one of the RAR Awards 2014 winners. Actually, we’ve scored a double whammy by picking up not one award but two!
The RAR Awards 2014 winners were announced last night, during the official awards ceremony at the Marriot Grosvenor Square, London. Juice Creative directors Nick Taylor and Mark Hodgkinson were delighted to be presented not only with the “Promotional Marketing” award, but also the award for “On Time” – a clear indicator that when Juice Creative says it will deliver … it delivers!
Here’s what Nick Taylor had to say on receiving the two awards:
It’s been a great night for the Juice team. I’d like to say a big thank you to all of the people we work with!
The RAR Awards are unique in that they’re driven entirely by client feedback. Finalists and winners are selected using ratings and references from their clients. The criteria include creativity, effectiveness, strategic thinking, client service and more. The ratings cover services from advertising, design and direct marketing through to PR and events – the full range of marketing disciplines.
This is what makes the RAR Awards different from any other agency awards. A RAR award proves that an agency delivers outstanding results and the highest levels of client satisfaction.
It’s time to stop all that monkey business and go bananas for the March 2014 edition of the Juice Retail Report!
This month, our research team came down from the trees for a romp through all the major retailers, picking over everything that’s ape-pealing in merchandising and point of sale. Weighing in at 112 pages long, their report is bigger than Bigfoot! The team didn’t mention PG Tips, but they did gather information on 25 categories from Beer, Wine & Spirits to Cooking Sauces, Healthcare to Petcare.
Their undercover activity (commonly known as gorilla marketing) also turned up some funky fixtures for Sport Relief and Mother’s Day, plus a beautifully merchandised Free Bowl offer from Whiskas. Regular readers will be pleased to learn our popular Visible Trends feature is back, shedding light on what’s growing strong in the in-store jungle.
If you’re ready to munch on the Juice Retail Report, swing over to our subscription page. Before you join the party, however, we’re gibbon you a little taster:
Tesco have stepped up to a higher gear for their Fuel Save campaign – this front of store display looks amazing …
Discovered in Asda, we loved the simplicity of this secondary packaging to showcase new packaging innovation …
Back in Tesco, this die-cut standee promoting a special offer on Thomas Kitchenware is on the cutting edge …
We’re incredibly proud to announce that Juice Creative has been named Creative Industries Business of the Year at the Leicester Mercury Business Awards 2014.
The award was presented last night at a special evening ceremony at the Maher Centre, Leicester. Attended by hundreds of representatives from Leicestershire’s business elite, the event was a rousing celebration of the region’s best companies, and a reminder to us all that the county is a fantastic place in which to do business.
We’re delighted to have won this prestigious award. We’re also privileged to be in the company of not only the other deserving winners, but everyone else who attended the ceremony. For us, being nominated was an honour in itself – winning really is the icing on the cake!
Here’s what Juice Creative director Nick Taylor had to say on receiving the award:
We’re really proud to have won this award. We were up against some fantastic competition, in one of the UK’s creative capitals, and we’re delighted that our achievements have been recognised in this way.
I’d personally like to thank all our clients – from global brands to local businesses – who have supported us over the years, as well as our loyal suppliers who help us keep the wheels turning. The biggest thanks of all goes out to everyone who works at Juice – this wonderful award belongs to you.
This year is a special year for Juice Creative as we’re celebrating our tenth anniversary. It’s been a fantastic journey since the early days when Juice was just me and my co-director Mark Hodgkinson. We’re looking forward to continuing that journey, as we continue to evolve to be the best we can possibly be.
Take the Tuesday April 1st edition of the Leicester Mercury. Turn to page 13. What do you see? Yes, that’s right – our happy, smiling faces staring back at you. Why are we happy? Because we’ve been nominated for Creative Industries Business of the Year in the Leicester Mercury Business Awards, of course. The results will be announced at the awards ceremony tomorrow night. We can’t wait!
In the meantime, we’ll just keep smiling.
