So what are we celebrating? Well, as we announced last week, Juice Creative is one of the 33 finalists for the Leicester Mercury Business Awards 2014.

The awards will be presented at an evening ceremony on Thursday April 3rd, at the Maher Centre, Leicester. Attended by hundreds of representatives from Leicestershire’s business elite, the event will be a celebration of the region’s best companies, and a reminder that the county is a fantastic place in which to do business.

The Drum Design Census 2014 – We’re Number One!

The Drum Design Census 2014 - Juice CreativeYes, it’s true. Juice Creative ranks Number 1 in the Client Poll* in The Drum Design Census 2014!

The Drum Design Census is published today as a special supplement to The Drum, the UK’s largest marketing website by unique views, PPA Magazine of the Year and Media Brand of the Year. The census ranks agencies based on three criteria: financial performance, client satisfaction and peer respect. Agencies are categorised according to size, and the resulting list of rankings has been billed as “the most comprehensive examination of the design industry in the UK”.

Appearing in the census is a tremendous achievement, and we at Juice congratulate everyone who made it on to the list. We’re particularly proud of our own achievements, of course … and they don’t stop at the Number 1 place! In our category, we rank:

  • Number 1 in the Client Poll
  • Number 6 in Peer Poll
  • Number 25 in the Financial Poll

These three scores are aggregated into an Elite table, comprising 20 businesses from all categories, and guess what?

Juice Creative ranks Number 3 on the overall Elite table!

The Drum Design Census 2014 EliteTo say we’re overjoyed is an understatement. We’re particularly pleased that we achieved our highest rank in the Client Poll, which relies entirely on feedback from the most important people to our business: our clients. The feedback is based on ratings given by clients across six key areas: branding; client service; design; creativity; strategic thinking; value for money.

To be recognised in this way is a true indicator that the work we do at Juice Creative continues to deliver real results for our clients and their businesses.

The Peer Poll is driven by an online survey on The Drum website, in which agencies are invited to vote for a shortlist of companies. The Financial Poll ranks agencies based on the following: UK design fee income for  the most recent financial year; UK design turnover for the most recent financial year; Fee income per member of design staff; Year-on-year design fee income growth; Year-on-year design turnover growth. The rankings are then averaged to provide the final positioning.

Here’s what Gordon Young, editor of The Drum, has to say about the census:

The Drum’s extensive Design Census will serve as a client guide to the dynamic design sector in the UK. It will prove one of the most comprehensive surveys of the UK design scene published to date.

We’re a RAR Awards 2014 Finalist!

RAR Awards 2014 Finalist - Juice Creative

Awards nominations are like buses: as soon as your back’s turned, two turn up at once!

Last week, we learned that Juice Creative is a finalist in the Leicester Mercury Business Awards 2014. Now we’re thrilled to announce that we’re also a finalist in no less than seven categories for the prestigious RAR Awards 2014.

The nominations are unique in that they’re driven entirely by client feedback. Finalists and winners are selected using ratings and references from their clients. The criteria under scrutiny include creativity, effectiveness, strategic thinking, client service and more. The ratings cover services from advertising, design and direct marketing through to PR and events – the full range of marketing disciplines.

This is what makes the RAR Awards different from any other agency awards. An RAR award proves that an agency delivers outstanding results and the highest levels of client satisfaction.

The categories we’ve been nominated for are:

  • Client Service
  • Design
  • Events
  • On Time
  • Print Production
  • Packaging
  • Promotional Marketing

The winners of the RAR Awards 2014 will be announced at the official awards ceremony on 23rd April 2014, at the Marriot Grosvenor Square, London. We’ll see you there!

Hounds for Heroes at Crufts

Hounds for Heroes stand at Crufts 2014, by Juice CreativeJuice Creative are proud to support Hounds For Heroes by designing, producing and installing their exhibition stand at Crufts, NEC Birmingham (6th – 9th March 2014).

Hounds for Heroes is a registered charity that provides specially trained assistance dogs to injured and disabled men and women of both the UK Armed Forces and the Emergency Services. All their dogs are carefully selected for the special qualities required in an assistance dog.

Once fully trained, Hounds for Heroes dogs bring quality of life to their owners by opening doors, picking up items … and even getting money from ATMs. Just as important, they also bring the companionship and love that can sometimes be hard to find when someone becomes disabled.

If you’re visiting Crufts this year, make sure you stop by the Hounds for Heroes stand in Hall 1, Stand 58.
