Are we excited? You can bet your Christmas baubles we are! We’ve just taken delivery of 4,000 copies of our charity Christmas book: The Unsung Hero of Christmas. It was written, designed and illustrated entirely by the in-house creative team here at Juice and you know what – we’re really proud of it! More importantly, we can confirm that no profit whatsoever will be made from sales of the book – 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People!
As if that wasn’t enough, this week we’re also gearing up for an exclusive public display of digital artwork from the book. You’ll be able to see a selection of our festive pictures at the “Designers & Makers” exhibition, which takes place at the Pedestrian Gallery in Rutland Street, Leicester from 28 November to 23 December.
Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People covers the whole of the East Midlands, and is based in Loughborough, Leicestershire, UK. Children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions come to the hospice for specialist respite stays, symptom management, palliative and end-of-life care. Their families are also supported and helped by Rainbows on their difficult journey. Care is provided by a professional team of highly respected nurses, carers and therapists together with a large support team, under the direction of a team of doctors providing specialist paediatric, palliative care for children in the hospice and in the community. Rainbows strives to help families escape from a hospital environment, focusing instead on a home from home atmosphere.
